Hello!
I'm an emerging children's picture book illustrator who creates emotive, expressive worlds filled with bold colour, wobbly lines, and characters who feel as though they might quietly step off the page and sit beside you. My work is rooted in feeling-wonder, sensitivity and the magic of imagination. I just love creating characters and worlds that children can wander through discovering small details and gentle moments of connection.
As an autistic illustrator, the way I experience the world shapes everything I create. I notice tiny shifts in colour, repeating patterns, the textures of everyday surfaces and the emotional atmosphere of spaces. What can sometimes feel intense or overwhelming in life becomes a deep strength in my art. It allows me to create illustrations that feel safe, immersive and full of quiet emotional energy. Worlds where difference is natural and belonging is felt.
Texture is at the heart of my process. I build images through layered brushstrokes, grainy digital surfaces and richly detailed imperfections. I am very drawn to quirkiness and joyful imperfection. My characters often have uneven smiles and expressive, searching eyes. Through them i love to explore themes of sensitivity, curiosity and finding your place in a world that can seem loud and confusing.
Through my illustrations I aim to create spaces where children feel understood and comforted. Spaces to imagine freely, and spaces that invite young readers to step inside and know that their wonderfully unique way of experiencing the world truly matters.
